Project X are an artist collective who champion dance and performance within the African Caribbean Diaspora in Scotland. Project X host conversations, workshops and performances. Project X is a collaboration and we celebrate the cross-pollination of identities, ideas and forms. Co-founded by Mele Broomes, Ashanti Harris and Rhea Lewis.

danceGATHERING is an annual Dance Lab and Anti-disciplinary Festival which takes place in Lagos Nigeria, it is co-curated by Qudus Onikeku, dancer, choreographer and artistic director of the QDance Center Lagos, and Onye Ozuzu, the Dean of the School of Arts, University of Florida USA.
A two weeks cortege bringing together participants and stakeholders from the international creative ecosystem. A central-hub to witness the magic that becomes when creative innovators, thinkers and practical problem solvers, gather in one space, in a city like Lagos. Themed BODY and MEMORY, is a curatorial direction which focuses on diverse forms of creative endeavours, that variedly explores the body as a storehouse of memories and inherited traumas

Many Half Hours was a collaboration between The Gallow Gate (Glasgow, Scotland) and Mushroom Hour Half Hour (Johannesburg, South Africa). Throughout the residency, artists performed in three sharings.
The Gallow Gate hosted a 2-week residency with Mushroom Hour Half Hour as part of the British Council Connect ZA 2017 programme. Mushroom Hour Half Hour has invited three incredible musicians to Scotland, Sibusile Xaba, Thabang Tabane and Dennis Magagula to collaborate with 4 UK based musicians and artists to create new work. Lagos Island is where the story of modern Lagos began and comes alive. Rich and layered in memory, heritage, culture and architecture, stretching from the former Broad Street prison, now Freedom Park to Glover Memorial Hall, Tinubu Square, Campos Square, Balogun Market, Isale Eko and the littering of enclaves that permeate the corners and edges.

In 1976, a theatre built on Mount Montjuïc half a century earlier for the 1929 International Exposition was turned into the venue for a festival that has since become a symbol of Barcelona's cultural life and a key event on the European festival calendar. Since then, there have been nearly forty summers of theatre, dance, circus and music.
Grec Festivcal presents BIDE, choreographers, dancers and performers find a place in which to forge connections within a horizontal arts creation structure. Fifty professionals from different disciplines in the world of movement took part in the fifth BIDE meeting in Barcelona. Based on this experience, five dancers were selected to work together for seven days at La Caldera. At the Grec, they will showcase the results of a work-in-progress residency, enabling spectators themselves to intervene in the creative process.
